What are you reading these days? I put off reading this book for far too long and finally gave it the attention that it deserved. Oh, my heart. It was beautiful, informative, raw and real. After finishing the book I watched the movie and bawled my eyes out. It’s your family, it’s my family and the reality is, sometimes you can do all the right things as a parent and it still may never be enough.
Have you read or watched? Tell me your thoughts…
This dry rub has become my favorite addition to the weeknight meal rotation. I prefer sirloin steak tips and beat my meat senseless and flat. (TWHS!) A little olive oil, rub it down with all the flavor, pair it with coconut rice and your favorite greens— winning! That’s a restaurant-worthy dish with the comfort and cost of home.
I don’t know what sort of surveillance the leak-proof panty industry has on me, but their online marketing is bloody ridiculous! (See what I did there?) In my effort to stop getting fatter, I hopped on the treadmill this week. My bladder is THE WORST! If it weren’t for the neon camo leggings I was wearing (That’s a site!), I’d have been exposed as the incontinent that I am. But before I succumb to going full speed ahead with bladder surgery, I decided to give those good-old period panties a try. (Panty. Panties. It doesn’t get less weird the more times you say it.)
I’ll be sure to report back with my findings! Have you used them?
In other news, I’ve been busy over at The Sunny Side Lifestyle Co. We just launched a Facebook Community Group that I hope you’ll join and participate in! We’re also hosting a monthly in-person event series based around living balanced, active, social lives. Here’s the scoop for next month’s event. I’d love to see you there!
On the home front, Poppy is still a fluffy love. The kids are wrapping up their basketball seasons. (I love watching them play!) And of course, my livingroom has been rearranged 317 times. Thank the lord for tulip season— I’ll take any pop of color I can get!
That’s all for now. I’m hoping we can start to connect more frequently here now that I’ve got two feet on the ground. I look forward to hearing from you, too! How’ve you been?
